The 21 renewable-energy projects financed by the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) since the Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Programme was implemented are contributing some 2 512 MW to the national grid. This includes five commercial solar panels, nine solar photovoltaic and five wind projects.
