Travel and tourism generated 1 in 10 of the world’s jobs in 2016, according to a new report by the World Travel & Tourism Council (WTTC). WTTC’s Economic Impact Report 2017, which is conducted in conjunction with Oxford Economics, researches the economic impact of travel and tourism on a global level, for 25 regions, and 185 countries.
